This is one of the best places of West Virginia to eat at. The view is stunning but the food is even better. The service is outstanding. The Lollipop chops were delicious medium and juicy and the perfectly cooked The pizza perfectly crispy and delicious. The shrimp tasty and. Not over cooked. A perfect experience. My compliments to the owner and chef.
We are from out of town. We were looking for something pet friendly (we had never dined out with our dog before) and family friendly close to the interstate as we were passing through Charleston after a long day in the National Park. I was hoping for edible food, in a safe neighborhood. We went up a mountain/hill into a newer residential area. The staff were friendly and the patio was very nice but we had a city and Mountain View. It was kind of neat watching the coal trains make their way through town with the mountains behind them. The food was good, service was good but the view was very beautiful! They even brought my dog water when they brought our drinks. We were a bit nervous bringing our dog but this experience was excellent.

This is a great place for a quick bite or a simple dinner. My husband and I visited The Lookout for our 31st anniversary dinner on 12-02-24. Our waiter took great care of us, was attentive and very friendly. The food is fresh, and very tasty. My husband enjoyed the Chicken Caprese and I enjoyed the Lollipop Lamb chops. We also ordered a dozen chicken wings with half BBQ sauce and half Buffalo sauce and had a slice of pumpkin pie for dessert. Our entire dinner was under $80 and also included a large garden salad and two non alcoholic drinks. The cocktail drink menu looks amazing which we will try another time. It was quite chilly the evening we visited, but the ambiance inside was warm and cozy. Behind the bar is a wall fireplace which adds to the cozy atmosphere. Large TVs displayed on the wall had a variety of sports events, and the volume was just right and not overly loud.
